Senior/Director Web Engineer

Proformative is looking for a senior/director web engineer to work in our office in San Jose, California.
We need people who are motivated to build interactive and social software for professionals on the web.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in computer field or related preferred
* Expert in PHP
* Excellent skills with Linux, Databases, SQL, testing, troubleshooting
* Solid back-end development experience; good front-end experience
* Knowledge of software development cycles, best practices, source control, databases,
* Good Knowledge of Drupal is desired. Knowledge of Drupal internals (hooks, forms API, etc.) is a big plus
* You must be local to the Silicon Valley area
* Must have built websites/applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, or CMS system
* Ability to take on and own new website features and development
* Ability to work with a high degree of independence and accountability

We are a startup. You will need to wear a lot of hats but be independent and responsible for delivering products and features for proformative.com. You will need to work with marketing, sales, and other teams on new features and help make sure it all works.

Proformative is a well-funded company of less than 20 employees with a set of applications, websites, and tools that reach specific professional communities. Our main and development office is in downtown San Jose, California - near light-rail and the train station.
